Tuesday, April 29th: 7 - 8:30 pm, Boys and Girls Club Gymnasium (IBEW Building), parking
in the back in the lot between 9th and Cedar Streets
Neighborhood Issues for the Candidates to Consider:
- Need for Pocket Parks in Certain Areas of the City and Upkeep in Others
- Mediation of Current Education Impasse
- Neighborhood Improvement Projects (i.e. sidewalks, beautification)
- Role of the Neighborhood Groups in City Planning
- Abandoned/Dilapidated Homes
- Property Upkeep
- Stricter Dog Ordinances Pertaining to At-Large and Vicious Dogs
- Other Common Neighborhood Alliance Issues Will be Presented to the Candidates in a Written
Form for Their Future Consideration
For the candidates:
Please Bring Any Literature You Want to Hand Out at the Event. One rule: literature
may not contain personal attacks on other candidates. Literature will be inspected and placed out for those in attendance
to take. We will be strictly enforcing a time limit for each candidates' introductory comments (one minute).
